Egypt eVisa for Families: Travelling with Children

Every Family Member Must Have an Individual Visa

Even if traveling together as a family group, every individual traveler — including newborn babies and children — requires their own approved Egypt eVisa.

    Child Passport Requirements

Children must hold their own individual passports with at least 6 months of remaining validity. Egyptian border control will not accept children endorsed inside a parent's passport.

    Submitting as a Family Group

When applying online, you can select 'Group Application' or 'Family Application'. This allows one parent or guardian to create an account and submit applications for all family members under a single reference, simplifying tracking and payment.

    Documents for Minors

    • Child's passport bio-page scan.
    • Birth certificate copy (recommended if parents and child have different surnames).
    • Consent letter from the absent parent if the child is traveling with one parent only.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do infants pay the same eVisa fee as adults for Egypt?

Yes. Egyptian immigration charges the same visa fee for every applicant regardless of age.

Can one parent apply on behalf of all children?

Yes. A parent can complete and submit the application for minor children using their own email and payment card.
